Gumdo At Polaris
Earn your Black Belt in the exciting art of Gumdo! Gumdo is the Korean sword art designed for battlefield application rather than dueling as most Japanese styles are oriented towards. Consequently, it is a more fluid and dynamic style, which includes cutting drills, sparring, skill challenges, meditation, and even archery! Open to anyone aged 9 and up with any fitness level. This is a standalone program and is for anyone- need not be a Taekwondo student to participate. !
Classes are at 11am on Saturdays in Crete beginning February 10th!
$250 Registration fee includes:
Wooden sword and scabbard (Mockgum and Kumjip)
Uniform (Dobok)
Sparring Sword (Kyuckum)
Monthly Fee: $75 after first month.
Testing fees not included.
